Branding and tax ID

Set your logos, accent color, brand intensity, and tax ID in Settings → Branding. Your built-in templates inherit these choices, so you can update your documents in one place.

Logos and colors#

Autoprinter picks up your Shopify Brand when you first install. Use Re-sync logo & colors from Shopify to pull later changes, or edit the fields directly.

• Default logo: used on packing slips, invoices, and return slips.
• Square logo: used on gift receipts, with the default logo as a fallback.
• Accent color: choose a color with the picker or enter a hex value such as #1A5276. The document thumbnails update as you edit.

Choose Save in the save bar to keep your changes, or Discard to return to your saved choices. Reset to neutral restores near-black ink; save to apply it.

Brand intensity#

Choose how much color appears in your built-in documents:

• Subtle: color highlights titles, order numbers, and totals. The rest keeps its original appearance.
• Standard: adds colored table headers, section rules, totals borders, and priority badges.
• Bold: adds a full-color header band and a tinted footer. Gift receipts use a centered header; pick slips keep an operational header without a logo or filled footer.

Existing stores start on Subtle. New installs start on Standard. You can change this at any time.

To use a different level for one document, open its built-in template editor and go to Styling → Brand intensity. Choose Use store setting to follow your shop-wide choice. Turn off Use store colors for neutral ink on that template. Your preview updates before you save.

Thermal label documents use shorter header bands. Monochrome label and receipt printers cannot reproduce your accent color; check the contrast on the actual paper. The Roll samples use black on white and grayscale logos. Check the template preview with your usual order before printing.

Sample templates#

Sample designs use your store colors for their colored highlights while keeping their layout. Intensity levels do not change sample compositions. Neutral designs and gradients keep their original look. If your accent is neutral, samples retain their original palettes.

Your own custom templates need the logo and tax ID variables in their HTML and var(--brand-accent) in their CSS to use these settings; see the template variable reference.

Tax ID#

Enter an EIN, VAT number, ABN, or other business tax ID in the Tax ID field. It appears in invoice and return-slip footers. Leave it blank to hide that line.

For company name, address, phone, email, and website, use the Store information card above Branding. Re-sync store info from Shopify replaces those fields with your current Shopify details.
